Every belief system has rituals from the Catholics swinging the Thurible during worship to symbolize the prayers of the faithful rising to heaven, to the Hindu’s ancestor rituals and even to pagan spell casting. Ritual is in all forms of worship and in everyday life too. Our days are filled with our personal rituals that get us through the day. In this class, we will delve into the powerful role of ritual. Rituals have been used for centuries by various cultures and religions to connect with the divine, to honor ancestors, and to mark significant life events. We will explore the different types of rituals, including those for healing, gratitude, manifestation, and transformation.
